You will serve as an Office Manager in the FX/SDB II TPO of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.

Duties
You will employ clerical and administrative procedures and requirements, DTS, phone and NMCI MAC requests, standard office skills, and demonstrated ability to support a diverse team.
You will support visitors to the TPO with travel suggestions/information and logistics support.
You will prepare standard correspondence, reports and other documents ensuring proper grammar, spelling, punctuation and format in accordance with the Naval Correspondence Manual.
You will generate off-center security clearances for staff and renew annually.
You will schedule upgrade/repair office equipment as needed.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- Generally, current federal employees applying for STRL jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower band level. This requirement is called time-in-band. Time-in-band requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-4/5) or pay band (DG-02) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in order to perform the duties of an Office Manager. Specialized experiences must include duties related to the following: (1) Reviewing correspondence in accordance with the organization's manual; (2) Performing work related to de-conflicting calendars, proactively obtaining relevant information; and (3) Utilizing independent judgment in dealing with high-level managers internal and external to the organization.

Successful completion of at least two full academic years of education above high school
OR
A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience
