You will serve as a Supervisory Engineering Technician (Nuclear) in the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Radiological Control Office, Radiological Engineering Division Code 105.2, Radiological Control Project Engineer Branch, C/105 of PSNS.
Duties
You will oversee technical and administrative radiological engineering work in connection with the overhaul, repair, modification, refueling and testing of nuclear reactor plants and operations.
You will research and develop new procedures and equipment to be used in the radiological control programs.
You will lead and participate in conferences and discussions involving work of the branch with other Shipyard personnel, Ship's force, representatives from NAVSEA and other shipyards and contractors.
You will oversee implementation of all radiological control requirements of the Shipyard and NAVSEA.
You will identify priorities and distribute personnel assignments accordingly.
Requirements
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Must be a US Citizen.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
