Duties
Identifies and prioritizes multiple concurrent conferences; plans, coordinates, and executes all conferences and special events.
Develops procedures for gathering and correlating data; consults with functional representatives to clarify reporting input;
analyzes data for overall trends.
Designs and plans with high-ranking officials and their senior staff for all event logistics to include personnel and security detail, secured communications and special requests.
Manages the planning of ceremonies, special observances and activities while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements

- Time after Competitive Appointment: Candidates must have served 3 months after latest competitive appointment in the Federal service.

Qualifications
One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-11) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required.
Specialized Experience is defined as: applying knowledge of administrative management practices, procedures, policies and regulations related to personnel management and at least one other project management area sufficient to provide advice and guidance to senior management regarding personnel management activities.

Time-in-Grade: Current or former federal employees who have held a GS position in the preceding 52 weeks, must meet the time in grade requirement. To be considered for the GS-12, applicants must have served 52 weeks as a GS-11 or higher in the Federal service.
You may qualify for consideration if meeting time-in grade, specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.
