About the Position: Human Resources Specialist (Military) researching applicable laws, policies, regulations, precedents and principles. Position is located at Human Resources Command (HRC), Enlisted Personnel Management Directive (EPMD), Readiness Division, Plans & Ops Branch at Fort Knox, Kentucky.
Duties
Coordinate missions and functions impacting officer and warrant officer assignment and distribution.
Analyze regulations, directives, and policies to determine impact on officer assignment.
Recommends and participates in planning, organizing, analyzing and implementing management concepts to enhance officer personnel management.
Utilizes standard automated data processing (ADP) systems to compile data, create briefings and composes memorandums.
Utilizes standard Army Human Resource (HR) data systems to extract officer personnel and strength management data.
Reviews monthly unit Army Strategic Readiness Update (ASRU) input to identify issues impacting officer personnel readiness and recommends courses of action to enhance officer management.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Position requires occasional travel away from the normal duty station up to 10% of the time.

Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a Human Resources Management degree or LL.B. or J.D. if related
