You will serve as a Maintenance Worker Supervisor in the Range Operations Division of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON.
Duties
You will be responsible for all matters pertaining to maintenance of firing ranges and related functions.
You will provide a consolidated point of contact to schedule and control all training areas (sea, land, and air) and firing ranges through the automated Range Facility Management Support System (RFMSS).
You will schedule, coordinate, control, inspect, and maintain automated field firing ranges, firing positions, maneuver areas, airspace, sea space, and impact areas.
You will oversee all aspects of maintenance and sustainment of ranges, training areas, and facilities contained within.
You will assist in the coordination of all contractor support of all automated firing ranges and range maintenance support for all Camp Pendleton ranges and training facilities.
Requirements

Serving as a first line supervisor on a regular and recurring basis for a group of tradesman and workers, responsible for performing a broad spectrum of trades work (including, but not limited to earthwork, land management, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, concrete, and painting) on a broad array of projects involving the construction, maintenance, vegetation management, cleaning and repair of roads, trails, structures, and buildings.
Performing difficult and complex maintenance tasks associated with the improvement, maintenance, repair, upkeep and cleaning of ranges and training areas which include range facilities, paved roads, dirt/gravel roads, earthen berms, access control, targeting, grounds maintenance, painting, carpentry, and vegetation management.
Applying basic construction skills to perform basic work in concrete, setting forms, earthen structures management, plumbing, electrical, ventilation system, fencing, flag poles, and basic structure or framing of walls and sheetrock.
Developing and documenting work requirements from multiple sources and coordinating work plans to meet the logged requirements or discrepancies.
Using a computer and Microsoft products to perform basic calculations, record completed work, and document resources utilized for future job analysis and production planning.
