You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the COMMAND DATA AND ANALYTICS OFFICE of MARINE CORPS LOGISTICS COMMAND.
Duties
You will plan and conduct analyses in order to support logistics data requirements from multiple customers throughout the Marine Corps.
You will research precedent studies to determine past issues; collect and evaluate a variety of data.
You will plan and conduct management surveys and/or research projects.
You will prepare narrative reports containing a statement of observations, options for change, and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements

- Generally, current federal employees applying for GS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level. This requirement is called time-in-grade. Time-in-grade requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
* Experience applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to the identification, consideration, and resolution of issues or problems of a procedural or factual nature concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of program operations.
* Experience enforcing pertinent laws, regulations, policies, and precedents, which affect the use of programs and related support resources in the area studied.
* Experience using established work methods, organizational structures, management processes, and/or program administration procedures.
* Experience conducting interviews with supervisors, employees, and others to obtain information about organizational missions, functions, and work procedures.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
GS-09
- Master's or equivalent graduate degree, or
- 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree, or
- LL.B. or J.D., if related
