The incumbent serves as an Industrial Relations Specialist responsible for the oversight of all human resources functions for one or more DOE/NNSA Management and Operating (M&O) Contracts. The incumbent will support areas such as benefits, compensation, labor relations, pensions and all other human resources areas for the M&O contractors.
The salary will be determined based on the duty location of which the applicant is selected.

Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower NNSA Demonstration Project pay band or GS grade level in the Federal service, i.e., NQ-2, GS-12. Specialized experience for this position is defined as applying knowledge of human resource management matters such as: employee benefits, employee compensation, pension and retirement plans, other benefit plans, labor relations, and workforce restructuring for a large organization.
Examples of Specialized Experience:
Experience performing reviews of various HR elements (employee benefits, employee compensation, labor relations, pensions/retirement).
Experience as a subject matter expert in the areas of HR such as benefits, compensation, labor relations, retirement plans, or workforce restructuring.

Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations.
