Duties
Serves as Supervisor of the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Branch.
Ensures customer needs are met for assigned customers, coordinating as necessary with support teams across all DLA supply chains as well as with distribution support organizations throughout DLA.
Facilitates and improves communications with customers by serving as the authorized prime point of entry for all customers inquires related to logistics support in the DLA supply chain.
Provides expertise regarding projects and implementation requirements and develops strategic options/plans to resolve complex problems requiring innovative solutions.
Leads the integration of existing and proposed wholesale and retail supply operating policies and procedures affecting customer-focused programs/projects and customers.
Briefs and advises top DLA managers and officials on new developments and advances in supportability techniques, overall plans, and proposals.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Supervisory Customer Relationship Specialist (FMS) your resume and supporting documentation must support:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Perform analysis of customer support programs to determine overall effectiveness and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, agreements, and policies.
Plan and coordinate program/project functions to ensure effective demand planning, order fulfillment, and customer service support agreements.
Evaluate key performance indicators and other customer-oriented metrics to ensure optimal customer support.
Perform long-range planning and projections by utilizing knowledge of DLA policies and general Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Customer Service Management (CSM) supply management requirements.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
