About the Position: This Position is located at Womack Army Medical Center, Department of Clinical Investigation.
Duties
Provide clerical and administrative support functions to coordinate the work of the office with other offices.
Receive visitors and telephone calls for the office and refers to appropriate staff members to handle the matter personally.
Accomplishes input to and reporting from the Automated Time Attendance and Production System (ATAAPS) and the Defense Medical Human Resources System Internet (DMHRSi).
Prepares recurring and special reports pertaining to production from AHLTA and MHS Genesis.
Verify accuracy of computations and sets up reports in final format.
Maintain organizations calendar, scheduling appointments and conferences.
Make travel arrangements using Defense Travel System for the Department of Clinical Investigation staffs.
Determine the appropriate staff activity for action, forwards correspondence or request, and follows up to assure action was taken.
Publication Clearance and Website Information - Ensures DCI internal and external websites are updated with current organizational information. Works directly with PAO and OPSEC signatories to ensure timely receipt of signed publication clearances.

- This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is therefore subject to annual seasonal influenza vaccinations.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes maintaining supervisor's calendar's; scheduling conferences and meetings; answering phone calls and routing visitors to appropriate personnel; using basic and advanced office automated systems to update, retrieve, review, and prepare correspondence and/or reports.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).
