You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the DIRECTED ENERGY BRANCH, TERMINAL DEFENSE SYSTEMS DIVISION, SENSORS WEAPONS AND LAUNCHERS DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER, PORT HUENEME DIVISION.
Duties
You will serve as the logistics point of contact and provide total life cycle logistics program support for the Directed Energy Programs.
You will serve as Logistics Team Lead providing leadership, coordination, project planning and overall Intergrated Logistics Support (ILS) task management of all Directed Energy (LEM) efforts.
You will coordinate requirements and serve as the liaison within E-Department for Directed Energy Logistics for project management, engineering, financial, contracts, depot, logistical and training support.
You will assist in overall Directed Energy supportability requirements.
You will lead engineering, technical and logistics personnel in developing and implementing programmatic requirements from acquisition through phase out.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing logistics program operations to provide solutions to logistics-related problems and develop reports on logistics requirements and budgets for an organization.
