You will serve as an Agency FOIA Administrator in the Office of Chief Counsel, Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA), the U.S. Department of Transportation. You will undertake analytic and advisory assignments at the direction of management with a focus on Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) responsibilities. You will also be responsible for assisting in the execution of the agency's FOIA program.

Qualifications
To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience requirements for the grade at which you are requesting consideration.To qualify for the Grade 12, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-11 it must include:
Experience analyzing and responding appropriately to Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) information requests and appeals.
Experience providing recommendations, technical advice, and assistance to agency program officials and/or attorneys related to FOIA requests and the FOIA program.
To qualify for the Grade 13, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-12, it must include:
Experience analyzing and preparing Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) responses to requests that adhere to regulations and FOIA-precedential cases.
Experience utilizing the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) in order to establish, administer, and evaluate the FOIA program activities for an agency.
To qualify for the Grade 14, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-13, it must include:
Experience analyzing and preparing Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) responses to requests that adhere to regulations and FOIA-precedential cases.
Experience utilizing the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) in order to establish, administer, and evaluate the FOIA program activities for an agency.
Experience examining complaints and compliments received for FOIA service.
Experience utilizing FOIA tracking, management, and reporting software, such as FOIAXpress.
