Incumbent serves as a management and program analyst for an organizational entity of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
Duties
Provides a wide range of administrative and analytical duties in the conduct of projects and studies of substantive functions to improve the overall work operations of the organization assigned. Assignments cover one or more of the following functional areas: program planning, execution and control (i.e., program/system planning and evaluation, program performance measurement); management improvement and control (i.e., quality management, organizational planning and development, staffing utilization, productivity, work improvement and work methods, work measurement and staffing standards development, delegation of authority, goals and objectives, and records and information management); and business management.

- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)
- Security Requirement:Moderate Risk (5). This position requires completion and favorable adjudication of a background investigation prior to appointment.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-H, FG/GS-12 level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position and is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.Specialized experience includes: Experience analyzing data and trends to ensure compliance with policies and procedures, provide guidance to less experienced professional in day-to-day operation; analyzing and recommending solutions for complex/difficult problems, and recommending improvements to systems and processes.
