This position is located in the Air Traffic Organization's Service Center. The incumbent is a Senior Analyst to the Team Manager and applies experience and expert knowledge of ATO programs, along with knowledge of analytical and investigative techniques, to analyze operational challenges, assess planned and potential new solutions, and recommend solutions. This work is critical to the safety of the NAS.

Duties

The incumbent is a recognized subject matter expert in a specialized area and provides leadership for highly complex and challenging activities under the minimal direction of a manager or executive.

Requirements

• US Citizenship is required.
• Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
• Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)
• Security Requirement: Moderate Risk (5). This position requires completion and favorable adjudication of a background investigation prior to appointment, unless a waiver is obtained. (Subject to a five-year period of reinvestigation).
• Temporary NTE 2 years, can be terminated, extended or made permanent at any time without further competition.

Qualifications

Specialized Experience: To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level FV-I (or FG/GS-13). Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position and is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled.Specialized experience includes: Experience in program management to identify and devise appropriate courses of action acceptable to management officials.Experience explaining, advocating, and expressing information and ideas to internal and external customers.Experience with data visualization tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, or other software applications to provide an accessible way for decision-makers to see and understand trends, outliers, and patterns in data, and clearly present data to non-technical audiences.Selective Placement Factors (SPFs) have been identified for this position.
