About the Position: You will serve as a Deputy to the Director of Command, Control, Communications, Computers (C4)
Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Directorate.
Duties
Determine a strategic plan, develop and execute operational goals, and form/sustain a strong, cohesive team of managers at the division level to carry out plans and goals.
Perform short and long-range planning (both strategic and tactical) by obtaining and interpreting workload demand data from Depot Enterprise Resource Planning Systems.
Establish performance requirements, evaluate subordinate supervisors and serve as reviewing official for other subordinates.
Make timely decisions, readily understand complex issues, and develop solutions that effectively address problems.
Requirements
- Must obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Up to 20% Business Travel.

In order to qualify, you must meet the Specialized Experience Requirement described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience Requirement: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Managing a maintenance and repair mission that includes the inspection, repair, refurbishment, rebuild, overhaul and testing of major electronics and communication systems, major items, components and sub-assemblies; 2) Working with other departments/personnel to meet organizational goals; AND 3) Making timely decisions, developing solutions to complex address problems, and communicating the rationale for decisions made to higher level managers, subordinates, peers and other personnel. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
