About the Position: Serves as a Lead Project Manager for the Production Management C4IRS Integration & Fabrication Program Management Division.
Temporary Appointment NTE - Position may be filled as a temporary appointment NTE 1 year. Temporary appointments may be extended up to a maximum of three (3) years.
Duties
Serve as a Lead Project Manager responsible for the top-level management, control, coordination, and execution of the Depot Project Management Model.
Determine changes to existing major processes or procedures.
Oversee project budgets and schedules using the Army Logistical Modernization Program (LMP) as well as other customer required methods, such as integrated masters’ schedules.
Participate in Customer and Installation programming decisions affecting long- and short term courses of action for assigned projects.
Participate in or represent the organization or clients at briefings, meetings, or conferences.
Conduct meetings with Production Management and/or overall Project Team (PT) personnel and furnishes decisions of a policy or program nature.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
- This position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification within two years of appointment to this position.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Life Cycle Logistics Certification within 36 months of entrance on duty.

Specialized Experience: : One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Overseeing the execution, and delivery of one or more projects in support of new or existing customers; AND 2) Developing justifications for funding requirements to secure required approval from the Program Sponsor; AND 3) Analyzing requirements such as resources, costs and equipment to meet program objectives and identify potential problem areas. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
