About the Position: Serves as the Installation and DPTMS Range Operations Integrated Training Area Management (ITAM) Coordinator and is responsible for providing management and technical expertise to ITAM program activities; to include organizing all components of the ITAM program to accomplish ITAM objectives for Fort Gregg-Adams. Serves as the primary point of contact for the ITAM Program and provides recommendations regarding ITAM requirements and appropriate ITAM activities.

Serve as the Contracting Officer Representative (COR)/Government Representative (GR)
Serve as the Installation and DPTMS Range Operations Integrated Training Area Management (ITAM) Coordinator
Prepare documents supporting training land management decisions
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
- This position requires the employee to use personal protective equipment provided by the employer.
- This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter.
- This position has a requirement to lift up to 50 lbs. in the regular performance of duties.
- Due to the nature of this position, employees are required to work both planned and unscheduled overtime.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- Must successfully complete a Contracting Officer’s Representative course within 1 year of employment.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes managing training lands, maneuver areas and live fire ranges; land management experience in areas such as environmental and resource preservation for the sustainment of lands for force readiness. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
