About the Position: The installation rests in the beautiful 'hill and lake' country of Central Texas between Killeen and Copperas Cove and is approximately 60 miles north of the capital city of Austin, 50 miles south of Waco, 160 miles south of Dallas, and 150 miles north of San Antonio. Duties
Serves as a team lead under the general supervision of Chief, Work Management Branch who relies upon the incumbent to accomplish work under minimum technical supervision except for discussion of those phases of work not covered by existing policies.
Serves as Lead Facility Maintenance and Management Specialist responsible for project development, programming, and construction.
Provides reimbursable project input for budget planning efforts for validation and prioritization of Fort Cavazos DPW Engineering (ENG) program requirements.
Serves as a Point of Contact (POC) for generating and providing information regarding the DPW backlog of maintenance and repair, Installation Status Report and the Directorates Annual Work Plan.
Ensures that designs and specifications prepared by tenant's facility offices are in compliance with Fort Cavazos requirements and A/E designs meet user/installation requirements.
Prepares Unspecified Minor Military Construction Army (UMMCA) DD 1391 for minor new construction approvals and required supporting documentations for submission to HQ IMCOM.
