Duties
As a Performance Based Logistics Project Manager you will be responsible for the following duties:
Leads, develops, and establishes the development of Performance Based Logistics (PBL) acquisitions strategic initiatives.
Oversees DLA/DoD planning, facilitation, partner engagements, and coordinating contract administration and technical expertise, for major long-term performance based worldwide programs.
Vendor Engagement Manager for Maritime Supplier Directorates key suppliers and stakeholders and ensures the customer’s expectations are communicated to assigned key suppliers and provides feedback to the customer.
Advocate for weapon system investment and acquisition strategies and depot support programs.
Builds and monitors the overall success of Maritime Supplier operations stakeholder partnerships in developing logistics and asset management strategies.
Coordinates Maritime Supplier operations contract activities by working with supplier stakeholders to share materiel requirements and develop strategies for delivery of the Warfighter’s needs.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Performance Based Logistics Project Manager your resume and supporting documentation must support:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Independently developing presentations, written reports, and briefs for higher level leadership and or customers.
Monitoring contractor performance through routine engagements by providing guidance as needed and enforcing contractual terms and conditions.
Resolving high-priority logistics, supply, and or distribution challenges.
Experience with cross process logistics functions such as acquisition, materiel management, and technical/quality processes.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
