You will serve as a geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) subject matter expert (SME) and targeting advisor executing all functions associated with targeting. You will be responsible for the research, development, test, and evaluation (RDT&E) of equipment, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs). This position is located at COMNAVSPECWARDEVGRU in Dam Neck, Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Duties
You will advise on all geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) matters and support all GEOINT tasks and requirements required for eventual support of CONUS exercises and OCONUS deployed task forces (TFs).
You will plan, develop, and coordinate special projects to include intelligence functions that would support augmentation of deployed Joint intelligence staffs.
You will ensure doctrinally correct procedures are implemented during training exercises and preparation of deployment of Naval Special Warfare (NSW) forces.
You will collect and analyze data to determine best methods and skills required to support Joint Task Force (JTF) intelligence functions.
You will develop, implement, and monitor command and Joint intelligence policy, directives, and instructions related to the execution of assigned duties.
Requirements

- You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.

- All Defense Intelligence positions under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) are in the excepted service by specific statute, 10 U.S.C. 1601. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.
- This position requires a periodic polygraph examination.
- This position may require a two-year DCIPS trial period requirement.
- May work weeks other than Monday-Friday.
- Required to travel on military or civilian aircraft, waterborne craft, deploy onboard ships, or serve at remote sites as required.
- May be exposed to hazardous or hostile environments.
- May be authorized to carry a weapon as required and must therefore be qualified with the weapon.
- This position is covered by the domestic violence amendment (Lautenberg Amendment) to the Gun Control Act of 1968.
- Required to report to command as requested.
- May be required to travel approximately 35% of the time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Advise on all geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) matters relating to the efficient coordination, planning, and completion of targeting in support of operations-related projects;
Utilize knowledge of federal agency regulations to provide innovative solutions to problems within the enterprise and the Intelligence Community (IC);
Interpret intelligence policy, directives, and instructions from higher authority to determine extent of impact and implement any changes that may be required.
