You will serve as a Supervisory Management Services Specialist in the S-1, HQSVCBN MARFORPAC of MARINE FORCES PACIFIC.

Duties

You will establish workflow and functional assignments. You will manage, authorize, and approve temporary additional duty orders. You will manage the battalion’s personal awards program. You will assist the legal officer in managing command legal matters. You will manage the battalion’s enlisted promotions, leave, and liberty processes. You will research, develop, and provide input to the MARFORPAC adjutant on positions on pay and entitlement changes and issues. You will develop performance standards. You will assign work to personnel.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Establishing workflow and functional assignments; managing awards programs; advising personnel on administrative matters; reviewing administrative policies; and performing various supervisory duties.
