This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Homeland Security Situational Awareness.
The primary purpose of this position is to conduct work that involves the planning and delivery of Information Technology customer support services, including installation configuration, troubleshooting, and customer assistance, and/or training, and customer advocacy in response to customer requirements.
Non-BU: This is a non-bargaining unit position.
Duties
As a IT Project Manager, GS-2210-14, your typical work assignments may include:
Ensures project coordination with key entities such as Enterprise Architecture, Information Security, Requirements Management, Change Control Board (CCB), Release Management, Outreach, Mission Advocates, and other stakeholders.
Develops, implements, maintains, and manages assigned IT systems' programs, policies, procedures, and tools to meet Information Security requirements for the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems, networks, and data.
Represents OSA and prepares and presents oral and written reports and briefings to management, non-technical personnel, external agencies and the public at meetings, conferences and other interactions with the various stakeholder organizations.
Identifies customers' information systems requirements. Develops Business Requests, Statements of Work, Performance Work Statements, or other acquisition/procurement documents.

Qualifications
Specialized Experience
You qualify for the GS-14 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) in Federal service, or comparable experience not gained through Federal service performing the following duties such as:
Conducting project and program management IT systems support.
Developing, implementing, maintaining, and managing assigned IT systems programs, policies, procedures, and tools to meet Information security requirements.
Serving as expert leading highly complex technical matters IT systems and services.
Serving as Contracting Officer Representative (COR) to support all IT aspects of the contracting processes.
Serving as a technical representative/point of contact with internal customers and external agencies for IT issues.

Substitution of education in lieu of specialized experience may not be used for this grade level.

Time-in-grade: Current General Schedule (GS) federal employees, and those that have served in GS positions within the last 52 weeks, must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade, or a combination of the next lower grade level and an equivalent band in the federal service by the closing of this announcement.
