You will serve as a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the PMS 400D Program Office; DDG 51 Class Ships of PROGRAM EXECUTIVE OFFICE SHIPS.
Duties
You will manage development and implementation of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Planning in accordance with applicable DoD/DON and customer ILS policy and guidance.
You will manage and oversee the development and implementation of in-process reviews and audits to ensure all ILS resources required to ensure the ships crews are trained in accordance with training objectives in the acquisition contract.
You will formulate, develop, and implement methods and procedures by which the DDG 51 Class ILS personnel will pursue logistics support requirements.
You will, as the DDG 51 Principal Assistant Program Manager (PAPM), lead development of logistics program goals, objectives and requirements through participation with SYSCOMS, Fleet, other Program Offices, Navy and other customers.
You will develop and integrate complete task descriptions to be performed; prepare budget submission, resource requirement and supporting documentation; and prepare and issue comprehensive program plans for review.
You will formulate technical objectives to support short and long term performance, ship design development, production and delivery requirements and initial and follow-on support operational requirements.
You will perform supervisory duties to include providing administrative and technical guidance, employee performance evaluations, identifying training needs, and workload management.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 pay band (or GS-13 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector leading logistics management functions (e.g., product support programs, developing or executing acquisition plans, identifying resource requirements, monitoring operations and funds distribution, etc.) in support of ships acquisition program.
