Duties

Function as a first level supervisor, coordinating, assigning, and reviewing the work of subordinate civilian personnel covering a broad range of disciplines. Serve as the command administrator for integration of all processing requirements, for the high school, campus-based, and green to gold scholarship programs. Interpret and evaluate policies, procedures, and regulatory guidance as it pertains to scholarship processing. Recommend revision or formulation of new goals and objectives. Identify equipment and facility replacement, augmentation, and upgrades.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
  • Temporary Duty (TDY) approximately 25% of the time.
  • Supervisory Probationary period may be required.
  • One-year probationary period may be required.

Responsible for management studies and efficiency reviews which may have a significant impact on missions, functions, organizational structure, work methods and procedures within the Incentives Division. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
