About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the Fort Drum, NY.
Duties
Plan and forecast inventory need under changing technological or program requirements in supporting the organization in meeting its classified and high-value item requirements.
Monitor receipt and issue of supplies and equipment.
Prepare necessary documentation to account for property through hand-receipt holder level for approximately 20 sub-hand receipt holders.
Schedule, prepare for and conducts on site quarterly property accountability inspections in support of the command supply discipline program to ensure quality assurance.
Develop and implement equipment and parts Life Cycle replacement.
Responsible for coordinating the shipment of nonstandard and standard equipment which includes over 1800-line items with a property book value of over $17.8 million.

- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Lifting up to 30 pounds is required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET Clearance.

Specialized experience would be demonstrated by: monitoring receipts and issuing supplies and equipment; conduct property accountability inspections; and utilizing various automated logistics systems. management.

Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management.

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
