About the Position: This is a permanent position with Army Clinic Moncrief. Moncrief Army Health Clinic is located on Fort Jackson, South Carolina and is part of the 82 square mile military installation located adjacent to the state capital of Columbia.

Duties

Design and modify training and clinical rotation schedules. Ensure mandatory training is completed. Provide advise to staff in regards to visits by the American Dental Association. Utilize a variety of databases or spreadsheet software to record, store, correct, merge, print and program material.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Selectee will be required to sign a statement (Condition of Employment) consenting to seasonal influenza vaccinations or must provide a recognized exemption.
  • A Personnel Security Investigation is required, Tier 1.

Specialized experience is defined as: 1) application of Dental education and training policies, programs and processes to ensure mandatory and voluntary training is completed under a education program 2) maintaining training records to include filing, monitoring and close out, 3) maintaining and updating data management tools, computer systems, statistical tools and applications including Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/position in the federal service (GS-05). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: AccountabilityOral CommunicationOrganizational Awareness Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05).
