This position is in the Customer Contract Support (MSC) organization of Customer Support Services (MS), Management (M), Bonneville Power Administration (BPA).
The purpose of this position is to provide management including direction and leadership in the planning, development, administration and performance evaluation of programs, systems, and work processes necessary to perform the critical mission and support activities required of the Contract Management and Administration organization.
Duties
As a Supervisory Public Utilities Specialist, you will:
Exercise delegated supervisory authorities and responsibilities, directing, coordinating, and overseeing the work.
Plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work.
Evaluate the work performance of subordinates.
Interview candidates for positions and make selections, promotions, and reassignments to such positions.
Ensure that Bureau Customer Contract Management and Administration needs are met for the Power, Transmission, Finance, Legal, and other functions.
Interface and coordinate with the Office of General Counsel, and Compliance and Governance on matters of customer contract governance.
Lead or participate in intra-agency committees and working groups for resolving critical problems in existing systems and programs.
implement Agency contract policies, standards, procedures, internal controls, standardization of contracts and contract processes, and standard provisions applicable to Power and Transmission.
Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
A qualified candidate's resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) in the Federal service.
Specialized Experience is defined as: Experience leading a project or team in 1) the implementation and operation of computerized database systems (e.g. Contract management systems, data management systems, Customer Portals etc.); 2) reviewing, monitoring, and managing customer contracts; AND 3) providing recommendations for the development of policies and procedures for managing customer contracts.
