The Architect of the Capitol, Office of Inspector General (OIG). OIG is responsible for overseeing AOC's programs and operations to detect and deter fraud, waste, abuse and mismanagement.
The Follow Up Division (FLD) conducts evaluations of corrective actions and remedies implemented by AOC management to address findings from previous OIG audits, evaluations, and investigations. FLD reports are performed in accordance with CIGIE's Quality Standards for Inspections and Evaluations.

Qualifications
You must meet the United States Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) qualification requirements (including specialized experience and/or educational requirements) for the advertised position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Candidates for the GS-09 grade level must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-7 grade level in the Federal service.
Specialized experience for this position includes having at least 3 of 4 of the following: (experience must be reflected in resume)
1. Researching laws, regulations, best practices, guidelines and policies and procedures.
2. Conducting audits, inspections, evaluations, or compliance reviews on programs and/or operations of a federal or non-federal entity.
3. Gathering, reviewing, and analyzing data to draw conclusions.
4. Developing recommendations for improvements to management and program operations. (ie: drafts reports, present findings.)

You may substitute education for experience for this position.
Education
Your education must consist of a master’s or equivalent graduate degree OR two full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree OR a LL.B. or J.D.
Education Degree Must be related to the duties of the position.

Combination of education and experience: An equivalent combination of the specialized experience and the graduate-level education described above.
