About the Position: Position serves as the deputy to the Division Chief, Operations Management Division, Force Shaping Directorate. Position is located at Human Resources Command (HRC), Enlisted Personnel Management Directorate (EPMD), at Fort Knox, Kentucky.
Duties
Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short term priorities and prepares schedules for completion of work.
Provides guidance, interpretations, training and/or briefings on current and proposed policies for enlisted Army personnel action programs to a wide variety of individuals, managers, and the senior Army leadership.
Prepares and briefs workload, production reports, statistics, and strategy, to higher level authorities.
Serves as the program manager for one or more broad areas of military personnel programs.
Coordinates efforts of all branches within the directorates in meeting command goals
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- A one year probation period to assess your supervisory ability/duties is required unless previously completed.

Experience Required: To qualify based on your resume, the resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience which includes and prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: experience providing guidance, interpretations, training and/or briefing on current and proposed policies for assigned military personnel management programs to a wide variety of individuals, management, and key-officials. Use of military personnel regulations, practices, and policies. Experience using personnel data systems and data processing functions, techniques, and capabilities. Possess experience in researching, interpreting, and applying laws, regulations, and guidelines to develop or revise regulations and policies. Experience in identifying problems and developing innovative solutions. Possess experience and proficiency supervising a team: planning work accomplished by subordinates, assign work, evaluate work performance, and direct a program or a major segment with significant resources.
