You will serve as a Technician in the Surface Weapons & Cooperative Engagement Capability Division, Sensors Weapons & Launchers Department of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
Duties
You will develop and execute maintenance schedules for each site, develop and review CEC installation drawings as well as develop and maintain test event schedules.
You will develop, coordinate, and execute CEC software validation as well as provide technical support as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all CEC related test events in addition to develop and execute plans for implementation of engineering changes.
You will develop and execute short and long term strategies for interoperability issue resolution as well as coordinate work
accomplishments between primary, sub-contractors, and LBTS site personnel.
You will plan and coordinate configuration audits, provide daily, weekly, and monthly status reports on current installations, test event support, future site requirements and oversee equipment operational status.
You will serve as a system technical consultant expert and will maintain knowledge of design and configurations of each Land Based Test Site CEC system.
You will conduct technical reviews of Specification Change Notices (SCNs) Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), Engineering Changes (ECs) and deficiency corrective action forms with respect to system performance, capabilities and maintainability.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 pay band (GS 11-12 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: overseeing technical engineering support services for the test and evaluation to facilitate installation or modernization of ship combat systems.
