You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Systems Acquisition Group, Program Management Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Duties
You will be responsible for all program analysis activities and Configuration and Data Management of the assigned program/project.
You will review future configuration changes, coordinate the logistics and engineering review of changes, and assess the in-service impacts of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs).
You will track all Configuration Management actions to ensure they are completed within prescribed timelines.
You will support the development and maintenance of the Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) library and associated documentation.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
Qualifications
I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band (DA-5) or grade level (GS-12/13) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Example of specialized experience include: 1) Utilizing a wide range of technical and business systems, processes, and practices used to manage air weapons systems acquisition; 2) Reviewing, analyzing, and implementing higher level procurement policies; 3) Managing project/program requirements, objectives and metrics, and resolving conflicts among schedules, funding, and resources; 4) Identifying opportunities to incorporate process improvements and best practices utilizing customer feedback, internal and external audits, self-assessment, and lessons learned activities; and 5) Advising management and colleagues on difficult problems, conducting special studies, proposing options and alternatives, and representing a command.
