You will serve as a PROGRAM MAANGER of NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING AND EXPEDITIONARY WARFARE CENTER.

Duties

You will recommend resources required to accomplish program objectives. You will plan program execution to mitigate cost, schedule, and performance risks. You will monitor work and funding expenditures to control funding for a program. Evaluate current program capabilities against long term requirements to identify disconnects. Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Planning, organizing, and oversees efforts and projects that are aimed at achieving and improving the quality, effectiveness, and timeliness of program accomplishments; 2) Managing short and long range planning activities that include multi-year work plans that are the products of subordinate organizational projects/programs; 3) Leading meetings with internal staff and representatives from external agencies and industry to determine program status; and 4) Preparing proposals and briefs to develop new business opportunities.
