About the Position: Serves as a Senior Strategic Integrator, Supervisory located in the Army War Plans Division (DAMO-SSW), Directorate of Strategy, Plans and Policies (DAMO-SS), Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff (ODCS), G-3/5 /7, Headquarters, Department of the Army(HQDA).
Duties
Ensure enterprise-wide resource and capability decisions are informed by Army-supported Combatant Command Operational resource requirements.
Plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, setting and adjusting priorities, and preparing schedules for completion of work.
Provide senior oversight and guidance to provide operationally focused analysis of key strategic and analytical studies, guidance documents, and strategic processes.
Serve as the HQDA lead synchronizer and integrator related to China / Taiwan to ensure Army Senior Leaders have a comprehensive and coordinated common operating picture on all actions at the OSD, Joint Staff and Army level.
Coordinate and synchronizes across HQDA National Defense Strategy identified Problems Sets, in order to drive resources and capabilities in supporting the Army Campaign Plan and Senior leader priorities.
Coordinate activities to provide Army Senior Leaders Operational Plan development and revision support as it pertains to Global Problems.
Evaluate work performance of subordinates.
Interview candidates for positions, recommends appointment, promotion, or reassignment to such positions.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- The incumbent will travel/go on temporary duty (TDY) 10% of the time, or more.
- This is a drug testing designated position. Personnel must pass drug screening prior to hiring and will be subject to periodic and random drug testing, thereafter, in accordance with AR 600-85 and Department of Defense Directive 2010.9.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/ Sensitive Compartmented Information security clearance.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: executing strategic planning development processes; providing oversight on strategic analysis and studies; evaluating strategic guidance documents such as National Defense Strategy, National Security Strategy, and/or National Military Strategy, to integrate into campaign plans; and leading a team to include setting priorities and evaluating work performance. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14).
