You will serve as a Housing Manager in the Unaccompanied Housing Oversight Division of NAVSTA.
Duties
You will develop long-range plans (e.g., construction, renovation) for housing assets and facilities.
You will investigate complaints related to housing facilities to determine the appropriate method of accomplishing maintenance or repair work.
You will develop performance plans to address individual employee performance issues, training and developmental needs.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Negotiating housing issues and requirements with officials at higher organizational levels, other agencies, community organizations, and residents; 2) Resolving housing resident concerns and complaints; 3) Analyzing current and past housing operations maintenance expenditures to determine future requirements; and 4) Providing recommendations for housing plans and directives.
