About the Position: This position is located within the Blanchfield Army Community Hospital in Fort Campbell, Tennessee. The purpose of this position is to serve as the Data Quality Manager and as a Health System Specialist for Blanchfield Army Community Hospital health care delivery system; ensure data validity of various automated data processing support systems impacting directly on decision support and medical treatment facility operations. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Duties

Provide analytical support in meeting the medical treatment facility's (MTF's) goals for patient's access to care. Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis and interpretation of processes and/or systems within a Military Treatment Facility (MTF. Recommend changes to systems and/or processes within a MTF to improve patient care. Monitor compliance of policies and procedures to confirm patients have access to care needed. Assess operations and appointment utilization patterns to identify areas for improvement in the appointment and scheduling processes within a MTF. Organize and schedule work among subordinates in accordance with established priorities, polices, procedures, and ability of subordinates. Review work for compliance with policies and procedures. Recommend training and developmental needs for subordinates.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes utilizing automated healthcare systems to enter and retrieve data; analyzing healthcare data for deviations, discrepancies, quality, and/or trends in the delivery of healthcare services or systems that impact patient care; compiling data findings into reports for leadership and staff; assisting with workload distribution for subordinate based on priority of work and ability of subordinates. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
