Duties

You will conduct analyses of organizational functions and processes to determine whether the systems currently in use effectively accomplish the objectives sought. You will provides the organizational staff with information and/or guidance on events, tasks, and projects to ensure effective implementation and consistency within existing policies, strategic goals, and required timelines. You will develops and manage the staffing, routing, and tasking processes within the organization. You will serve as organizational lead for Mission Assurance and Continuity of Operations.

• Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NH-2 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Develops and manages the staffing, routing, and tasking processes within the organization. Reviews and revises, as required, processes and policies in support of organizational goals.
