You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST at the SUPPLY DEPARTMENT of Coastal Riverine Group (CORIVGRU) ONE.

Duties

You will serve as the principal Maintenance Material Management (3-M) System Manager to the Chief Staff Officer. You will advise, monitor and assist Department Heads, Division Officers, Department 3-M System Assistants, and Work Center Supervisors in matters concerning the 3-M System. You will read, interpret, and apply guidance relating to 3-M to all members in the chain of command. You will ensure the Squadrons' 3-M System program is kept current and any revisions are promptly distributed and appropriately entered. You will manage the functions of the Maintenance Material Management (3-M) System office. You will administer and supervise the command's self-assessment program. You will ensure all work centers are in compliance with pertinent directives. You will conduct classroom and field instruction of the 3-M System and subject matter expertise to all members of the Coastal Riverine Group ONE (CRG-1) subordinate units, appropriate to rank and position, as per Navy 3-M directives.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: providing planning, logistical analysis, and coordination of a Maintenance Material Management program to support operational readiness of equipment and resources. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
