Duties
You will develop cost effective ways to provide logistics support to deployed systems and equipment.
You will work with system engineers and acquisition managers to ensure contracts are reviewed and approved based on contract requirements.
You will work with various staff to determine the status of programs and projects.
You will plan, coordinate, and Chair in key meetings such as integrated product and logistics support management teams, etc, as required.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- Generally, current Federal employees applying to APS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level. All qualifications and pay band requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement and documented in your resume.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Administrative and Management experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing, coordinating, and managing acquisition logistics and sustainment logistics functions; conducting appropriate cost analyses to validate the product support strategy, including cost-benefit analyses; AND performing product support planning to ensure all required documentation, maintenance, training, supply support, and In-Service Engineering Activity (ISEA) meet the requirements of the applicable program Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP).
