Duties

You will serve as the senior program analyst for energy systems and climate integration You will ensure that energy system capabilities are fully compatible with all relevant USMC systems and compliant with DOD regulations and standards, and include climate policy considerations. You will represent top technical-level efforts by providing technical leadership in the evaluation of technical solutions and the associated impact on related operations and programs. You will evaluate technical authority for climate policy and program analysis of climate considerations for operational energy applications, storage, and distribution capability for tactical platforms, and individual equipment. You will conceive, plan, and conduct pioneering work of outstanding scope, difficulty and complexity in the area of energy systems.

Requirements

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

• This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
• The incumbent must meet requirements for Requirements Management training as identified by the Director, CDD or the Director, E2O.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing expert and technical authority for policy and program analysis of climate, energy generation, storage, and/or distribution capability for tactical platforms.
