About the Position: Serves as a Supervisory Management Specialist (Business Operations) for the Career Management Support (CMS) Directorate, Army Civilian Career Management Activity (ACCMA) of the Civilian Human Resources Agency (CHRA).

Duties

Exercise independent judgment, initiative, and originality in providing staff level personnel, manpower and business operation support to Project Managers (PMs) and other staff members. Serve as the supervisor responsible for providing continuing leadership and support to civilian employees who are responsible for directing, monitoring, and reporting on the various functional program areas assigned within CMS. Apply a comprehensive knowledge of analysis/reporting requirements, work processes, accounting systems structure and data produced to resolve significant management problems Ensures EEO principles are reflected in all aspects of personnel management. Establishes operating procedures/priorities, and defines the strategic goals for the staff.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position may require a one year supervisory probation period.
  • This position requires a Secret security clearance.
  • Position requires occasional travel away from the normal duty station up to 10%.
