You will serve as a Supervisory Security Specialist in the NAWCWD Security Department of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.
Duties
You will maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; developing personal growth opportunities; and providing leadership and supervision
You will provide coaching, counseling, and discipline to employees; plans, monitors, and appraises job results; conducts training; implements enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
You will completing performance management tasks in a timely manner; including clearly communicating performance expectations, providing concise, accurate and timely feedback.
You will maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing organization standards; adhering to legal regulations.
You will administer all aspects of the security program protecting the Command from espionage, terrorism, and threats of unauthorized disclosure and/or compromise of information or material considered vital to mission interests.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band (NM-03=GS 09-12) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following:

1)Applying knowledge of DoD and/or DON security policies and procedures for the proper protection, handling and marking of controlled unclassified information (CUI) and classified information;
2) Administering all aspects of the security program protecting the Command from espionage, terrorism, and threats of unauthorized disclosure and/or compromise of information or material
3) Providing training to the workforce under area of cognizance,
4) Managing and/or leading security specialists;
5) Establishing priorities and coordinating work across projects, programs or people, and effectively balancing work demands while maintaining an effective work balance.
