You will serve as a Range and Airspace Scheduler in the Range Management Department of MARINE CORPS AIR STATION YUMA.

Duties
You will be responsible for the production of the confirmed daily. weekly and projected monthly and quarterly range schedules.
You will initiate, maintain and provide technical data regarding utilization of facilities.
You will validate and present schedules and plans required for range and airspace management purposes.
You will coordinate with local and regional air traffic controllers daily to furnish the Range and Airspace Controller the next day's available airspace and altitudes.
You will advise range users on the capabilities, limitations and uses of military training facilities and Special Use Airspace (SUA) in the Yuma Training Range Complex (YTRC).
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Maintaining and updating short term and long term master range calendar; planning, scheduling and coordinating with all parties to maximize the safe utilization of all training facilities and training activities.
