About the Position: This position is located in the Fleet Management Expansion, U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Fort Leonard Wood, MO. Fort Leonard Wood is located in the beautiful South-Central Missouri Ozarks. The Fort covers more than 61,000 acres and is located in Pulaski County, bordering Waynesville/St. Robert and Interstate 44. St. Louis is a 2-hour drive east and Springfield is a 1-hour drive west of Fort Leonard Wood.

Duties

Plan, direct, coordinate, and review work of personnel engaged in providing supply operations and field level maintenance support to organization. Direct employees and control assigned shop stocks with responsibility for insuring adequate materials/supplies meet customer demands. Establish, maintain and revise stock objectives and appropriate stock levels. Coordinate with multiple contacts to facilitate effective management of assigned stock, assure timely distribution and to clarify discrepancies and resolve supply issues. Perform first level supervisory functions. Provide equipment utilization information to Maneuver Support Center of Excellence and TRADOC units.

OR Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Logistics Management. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
