As a supervisor/manager, the selectee for this position will be eligible to receive a Manager Performance Incentive (MPI) provided eligibility requirements noted in agency policy are met. The MPI is an annual lump-sum incentive payment that considers agency performance, the manager's individual performance, and available funding.Serves as a Planning and Requirements Manager in a en route facility responsible for planning and directing.
Duties
Directs a technical and non-technical workforce that provides tactical and strategic support to district facilities. Provides technical leadership in developing and managing project portfolios and integration opportunities as a means to conceive and accomplish projects with methods that will enhance the efficiency of resource utilization, minimize operational impact to the NAS, and minimize cost to be more effective in implementing NAS projects. Assists in coordination and integration of organizational requirements and projects across the district for both internal and external projects. Develops a strategic portfolio plans to evaluate programs in support of the NAS. Coordinates Portfolio Plans and Integration Opportunities requirements and projects.
Requirements

- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.

- A one-year supervisory/managerial probationary period may be required.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-J or FG/GS-14 level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized experience includes technical or operational experience with NAS programs, procedures, infrastructure, and/or facilities. This includes systems and facilities interrelationship in providing the services necessary for the movement of aircraft across the NAS. Specialized experience may also include a aviation technical knowledge gained through experience in design, development, deployment, or performance evaluation of systems or facilities that support the NAS. Experience related to NAS programs or projects involving the integration and implementation of activities to improve technical efficiencies.
