About the Position: This position is located at the Human Resources Command (HRC), The Adjutant General Directorate, Evaluation, Selection, and Promotions Division, Evaluation Branch, Fort Knox, KY. Serve as a HR assistant at Headquarters Department of the Army level conducting business processes in evaluations, selections, and promotions functions supporting these Army-wide Systems (policy and procedures) for officers and noncommissioned officers in all Army components (Active, USAR, and ARNG.)
Duties
Identities a need: Gather, organize and maintain information utilizing Army automated systems.
Understands and interprets written material, including rules, regulations, instructions, reports, or tables; applies what is learned from written material to specific situations. Knowledge of typing entering data.
Holds self accountable for measurable high-quality and timely results. Determines objectives, and Complies with established regulatory and policy rules and sets priorities. established control systems.
Is thorough and conscientious about attending to detail when determining eligibility or consideration and questions pertaining to actions in evaluations, selections, and promotions area from a wide variety of input.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Applicant must obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
- This position requires a qualified typist, must be able to type 40 WPM.

Specialized Experience: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience receiving, reviewing, and preparing responses to Officer Evaluation Reports (OER), Noncommissioned Evaluation Reports (NCOER), & Academic Evaluation Reports (AER) at HQDA or equivalent level. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
