Duties
You will provide a full range of administrative support including planning, coordination, and prioritization of tasks.
You will maintain a tickler system of action due items, along with maintaining calendars and muster/emergency recall information.
You will Initiate and amend travel orders, make lodging and transportation reservations, reconcile travel vouchers and prepare visit request.
You will be responsible for screening and channeling all incoming telephone calls.
You will maintain office equipment; and ensuring the office is appropriately supplied, including ordering routine supplies through standard resources.
You will be the focal point in onboarding new employees and in processing current employees for their transfer, separation, and retirement.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
DG-02: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of general experience at or equivalent to the GS-01-03 grade level or DG-01 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Experience must demonstrate the following:1) Performing general office clerical work; 2) Assisting with preparing standard correspondence, reports and other documents ensuring proper grammar, spelling, punctuation and format; 3) Assisting with preparing and processing travel documents; and 4) Experience with Microsoft Office Software Applications.
DG-03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04/05 grade level or DG-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing general office clerical support to include, maintaining office filing, receiving incoming phone calls and taking messages; 2) Preparing standard correspondence, reports and other documents ensuring proper grammar, spelling, punctuation and format; 3) Preparing and processing travel documents, including travel orders, vouchers, itineraries, visit requests; 4) Maintaining office supplies, including ordering routine office supplies using applicable processes; and 5) Experience with Microsoft Office Software Applications.
DG-04-Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DG-03 pay band or GS 05/06 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Processing travel documents including travel orders, vouchers, itineraries, visit requests; 2) Performing general office clerical support, to include, receiving incoming phone calls, taking messages and greeting official visitors; 3) Maintaining calendar/scheduling appointments and arranging meetings including conferences both on and off center; 4) Preparing, editing, formatting, and routing correspondence (i.e. official letters, memoranda, transmittals, etc.); 5) Maintaining office filing processes, processing training requests and tracking mandatory training; and 6) Experience with Microsoft Office Software Applications.

Education
The following education may be substituted for specialized experience:
For DG-02 (GS-4/5): 2 years above high school
For DG-03 (GS-5/6): 4 years above high school
Successfully completed education above the high school level in any field for which high school graduation or the equivalent is the normal prerequisite is creditable at grades GS-3 through GS-5.
This education must have been obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university. One year of full-time academic study is defined as 30 semester hours, 45 quarter hours, or the equivalent in a college or university, or at least 20 hours of classroom instruction per week for approximately 36 weeks in a business, secretarial, or technical school.
