You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the Administration and Resource Management Division of HQ US MARINE CORPS.
Duties
You will analyze new business process methods or technique that were of material significance in the solution of important business problems with unprecedented or novel aspects.
You will perform analytical studies involving issues related to key agency programs and/or programs impacting one or several major agency organizations.
You will direct diverse organizational functions that affected critical aspects of major agency programs.
You will develop plans for implementing short and long-range program goals in subordinate organizations.
You will coordinate the work of a wide variety of participants when there were significant or major advancements or issues in the program area or subject matter related to the program area supervised.
You will justify, defend, negotiate, or settle matters involving significant or controversial issues.
You will participate in conferences, meetings, or presentations involving problems or issues of considerable consequence or importance to the work of the agency.
You will have delegated authority to establish annual, multiyear, or similar longrange plans and schedules covering the work of an organizational unit, plan for longrange staffing needs, and implement the goals and objectives for an assigned program.
You will analyze issues related to the establishment of program goals and objectives for major agency program areas supervise.
You will provide recommendations on the development of program implementation, operation, and evaluation strategies/methodologies.
You will write reports in the specialization or subject matter area of the position, some of which have been recognized by others as having an important influence in the program area.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a final Top Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Planning, directing, managing, supervising, and monitoring programs; 2) overseeing and assigning work to subordinates; and 3) designing and conducting a wide variety of comprehensive studies and detailed analyses of complex functions and processes related to program planning and management.
