Duties
You will be responsible for all budget and accounting fiscal matters pertaining to EODGRU1 and sub-units operations and ensure they are in compliance with execution guidelines and have proper validation from NECC N codes when necessary.
You will monitor funding issuance and transaction listings, review and verify obligations, and expenditures to ensure acceptance of related funding documents and obligated.
You will provide professional accounting, managerial, and financial technical support service for EOD1 to ensure they are in compliance with NECCPAC Guidelines.
You will provide advice and assistance to groups in facilitating, coordinating and collecting various budget formulation and execution data.
You will review and monitor the execution of program to ensure funds allocations are executed properly and within target.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This is a Financial Management Level I certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: utilizing automated financial management systems to gather budgetary data, create budget estimates, and identify issues for resolutions and conformance with the established regulations, policies and procedures.

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Education may substitute for specialized experience as follows:
Successful completion of Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, OR;
Successful completion of 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree, OR;
Successful completion of LL.M., if related OR;
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
