You will serve as a MARITIME AIR PLANNER of HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND.
Duties
You will provide expertise in the Maritime Air planning of: full spectrum operations planning; manned and unmanned platform operations.
You will partner with subject matter experts across the Joint Force.
You will develop, publish, and update integrated plans in alignment with Command goals.
You will develop Joint fires response options for the National Command Authority during crisis action planning.
You will plan, organize, and lead others in comprehensive studies or projects and preparing accurate, technically sound recommendations
You will use written and oral communication skills to help achieve command goals.
Requirements

- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate performing duties such as:
1) Having expert knowledge of Joint Fires planning, policies, processes and procedures along with demonstrated experience in Joint Targeting Cycle planning, execution, and assessment; 2) planning, organizing, and leading others in comprehensive studies or projects and preparing accurate, technically sound recommendations; 3) Negotiating effectively with management to accept and implement recommendations for command positions on extremely sensitive, highly classified and vitally important capabilities; 4) Having detailed knowledge of military command structure, military staff organization, and operations at a Combatant Command or equivalent strategic-level organization; and 5) Having superior written and oral communication skills.
