These positions are located in the Division of Administration, Human Resources Branch, Human Capital Operations Unit of the FDIC, and are responsible for providing recruitment and placement in Corporate Staffing Operations or Corporate Programs. Corporate Staffing Operations is responsible for operational recruitment, placement, and staffing activities nationwide and Corporate Staffing Programs is responsible for entry-level hiring, pathways, and other internal and external staffing programs.

As a Human Resources Specialist, you will:
Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Additional qualifications information can be found here.
CG-13: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the grade 12 level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience performing the full range of recruitment and placement functions utilizing merit promotion and delegated examining procedures including developing job analysis, preparing job opportunity announcements and making eligibility/qualification determinations using an automated recruitment system; performing pay-setting; tracking and analysis of recruitment data; and providing consultative services on recruitment strategies and resources.
In addition to the qualification requirements listed above, you must also meet the following selective factor to be considered eligible for this job. The selective factor is defined as: Current Delegated Examining certification by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management is required for this position.
