You will serve as a ADVANCED TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT DEPUTY in the OPERATIONS DIRECTORATE (N3) of COMNAVSPECWARDEVGRU.
Duties
You will serve as deputy to the Advance Technical Department Head as the technical expert for the planning, implementation, and management of unmanned systems, technical surveillance equipment, and special communications equipment.
You will develop policies and makes recommendations for precedent-setting technical operation requirements that are effective throughout Department of Defense.
You will oversee acquisition and procurement of all technical operation systems and equipment.
You will directly supervise civilian and military employees within the department.
You will direct and coordinate subordinate military activities in all aspects of budgeting, commercial off the shelf equipment procurement, integration, and evaluation efforts for the department.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
- This position is subject to random counterintelligence scope polygraph examinations.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Planning, implementation, management of unmanned systems, technical surveillance equipment, special communications equipment, computer network operations network/device electronic security to include fulfillment of information assurance requirements.
